I got ripped off

I had a terrible experience with this company. They installed new carpet in our basement. By the time the installation was finished, it was getting dark outside, and I couldn't see the carpet clearly with the limited basement lighting. But the next day I discovered that there were 3-4 dark spots in the carpet that ranged from several inches to a couple of feet in diameter. I sent photos to the company, and they agreed to reimburse me if I got the carpet cleaned. After the cleaning, the spots looked better, but they were definitely still visible. I called the company back and sent more photos to show that the spots were still there. They didn't offer to replace the carpet and never even paid me the $80 for the cleaning. I called back four or five times asking them to send me a check for the cleaning. Every time they would promise to send the check, but I never got it. Now I'm stuck with a stained carpet.
